Nathalie Agnew, Managing Director

Managing Director

Nathalie Agnew

Nathalie formed Muckle Media in 2012. A former Fleishman-Hillard and Porter Novelli senior international PR advisor, she is a chartered Fellow of the CIPR.

She has led the team to numerous industry wins, most notably the PRCA DARE Large Agency of the Year in 2022 and CIPR Scotland PRide Outstanding PR Consultancy in 2018.

Nathalie holds a BA in Communications and a certificate in Direct and E-Marketing from the IDM.

Jacquelyn Whyte, Consumer Director

Consumer Director

Jacquelyn Whyte

With 17 years' consumer PR experience working for big name brands across many sectors including retail, food and drink, charity and healthcare, Jac oversees agency creativity and has led the team to deliver award-winning campaigns for clients such as Popeyes.

Prior to working in PR, Jacquelyn was a consumer researcher for the Good Housekeeping Institute where she reviewed hundreds of consumer products for the magazine.

A foodie at heart, Jacquelyn holds a BSc in Food and Consumer Science (with distinction) from the University of Abertay and — when she gets a rare child-free night — is most likely to be found enjoying good food and wine with friends at her favourite restaurants.

Catriona Mackay, Senior Account Director

Senior Account Director

Catriona Mackay

With a strong background in consumer PR, particularly in the food and drink sector, Catriona's experience has taken her from some of the country's most famed luxury hotels to global restaurant brands and spirit producers. She's most comfortable at the helm of campaigns that drive meaningful results for clients — whether that means a fully booked restaurant, the longest queue outside of a new venue, national TV coverage or an iconic brand partnership.

Away from the office, Catriona will be consuming as many books, podcasts, TV and films as humanly possible, exploring the Scottish country and seaside with her cockapoo, or ticking off a never-ending list of places to find wine and small plates in Edinburgh.

Olivia Messina, Account Director

Account Director

Olivia Messina

As an honorary Scot transplanted from the USA, Olivia's love for all things food and drink has sparked her passion to manage campaigns for iconic restaurants and luxury hospitality brands expanding their reach within the UK market. Olivia has led record-breaking venue openings for brands including multiple locations of Popeyes and Pho, in addition to sell-out product launches for Isle of Harris Distillery with their inaugural single malt, The Hearach.

With a successful track record managing media and influencer campaigns from the seven venues within the Dean Banks Group portfolio, to local events like Eat Out Edinburgh, to massive hospitality showcases like ScotHot, Olivia develops creative strategic comms plans that leave audiences hungry for more.

When she's not at her laptop, Olivia can usually be found at a yoga class perfecting her crow pose or securing a booking at the newest independent restaurant in town.

Brandon Pugh, Senior Account Manager

Senior Account Manager

Brandon Pugh

Brandon specialises in food and drink communications, helping brands tell stories that land with consumers and media alike. A Psychology graduate, a long-standing interest in what captures people's attention and builds genuine connection is what led him into PR.

He has worked with international names including Dewar's Aberfeldy and Bombay Sapphire Distillery, delivering creative campaigns, standout media placements and brand narratives that build visibility — from product launches to visitor experience storytelling.

In his free time, Brandon is at a gig discovering his next favourite band, or deep into a work of contemporary fiction.

Hannah Turpie, Trainee Account Executive

Trainee Account Executive

Hannah Turpie

Hannah joined the team as a Trainee Account Executive after graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2024 with a degree in Sociology & Social and Public Policy, followed by a spell travelling across Asia and Australia before settling in Edinburgh.

Before PR, she worked with the London marketing team at Oliver Bonas, where she caught the bug for creative campaigns. She now supports lifestyle and hospitality campaigns for clients including the Old Course Hotel, Vittoria Group, Edinburgh Zoo and Sodexo Live!

Outside of work, you'll find Hannah working her way round Edinburgh's wine bars and coffee shops, at a pilates or spin class at Tribe, or making the most of the outdoors.

Jemima Hassall, Trainee Account Executive

Trainee Account Executive

Jemima Hassall

Jemima joined as a Trainee Account Executive, working across the consumer and Spey teams. She graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in International Business, including a year abroad at the University of Melbourne studying journalism, media and business.

Fundraising and event planning during her studies sparked a love of creative problem-solving and campaigns that make an impact — an enthusiasm she now brings to hospitality and charity communications.

Outside the office, Jemima can be found in a pilates class, seeking out the perfect matcha, or making the most of the Scottish outdoors.
